HMO, PPO and EPO plans​

 

HMO

"Health Maintenance Organization"  

The plans HMO "Health Maintenance Organization" offer a wide range of health care services through a network of providers who agree to provide services to members.  With an HMO, you'll likely have coverage for a broader range of preventive health care services than you would under another type of plan.

 

PPO

"Preferred Provider Organization" 

The plans PPO they are one of the most popular types of plans in the Individual and Family market.  Plans PPO "Preferred Provider Organization" They allow you to visit any in-network doctor or health care provider you want without first requiring a referral from a primary care physician.

 

EPO

"Exclusive Supplier Organization"

 As a member of an EPO "Exclusive Provider Organization" , you can use the doctors and hospitals within the EPO network, but you cannot go out of the network to receive care.  There are no out-of-network benefits.
